Longcross completion

Social Housing Development – Longcross Street, Cardiff.

This recently delivered new multistorey development for our Client, CCHA (Cardiff Community Housing Association) has 27 much needed one-bedroom apartments and eight two-bedroom apartments over six storeys and is one of the first EPC A high rise buildings in Wales. Each apartment benefits from its own solar panels to subsidise the electricity, ensuring tenant energy bills are affordable.

The Civil and Structural designs are robust and consists of a steel frame system with external brick work and delivered within a constrained and active community environment. The design was in accordance with the Welsh Government Development Quality Requirements (DQR) and Secured by Design.
