We currently have vacancies for Structural Technicians, with opportunities for both Technician and Senior Technician levels.

Due to secured project work and strategic growth, Grays are looking for skilled, enthusiastic and self-motivated Structural Technicians to join our team based in Cardiff.

Experience: 4+ years

Education: Minimum educational base HNC, HND/ BEng, BSc or similar level qualification.

Salary: Competitive, based on Experience and suitability to role £NEG

Location: Cardiff

The successful applicant will have the following competencies:

Self-motivated and able to work well on their own or as part of a larger team

Clear and effective written and oral communication

Can demonstrate at interview experience in detailing building structures including differing types of foundation solutions, masonry construction, structural steelwork, reinforced concrete, timber and precast concrete general arrangements.

Required education and experience:

HNC, HND/ BEng, BSc or similar level qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering

Minimum 4 years relevant work experience

Excellent AutoCAD skills, including an ability to manage data, X-refs, layers etc.

The following skills will be an advantage, but not essential:

Ability to carry out limited structural design

Ability to use Autodesk Revit and understanding of BIM Modelling

Ability to use CADS RC

Must be eligible to live and work in the UK
